Our Ingredients

Ingredients are the most important part when making are famous dog treats, and we spend hours (and literally mean hours) a day researching the best possible ingredients for your beloved pets.

Every ingredient we use in each dog treat is there for a reason, and we want you to see why. Below you will find each ingredient used and why it will benefit your pet:

  • Cinnamon - Cinnamon has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties which means this will help to regulate a dogs blood level if they are suffering from diabetes. It also has anti inflammatory properties so if your dog has arthiritis cinnamon will help with the inflammation of the joints. Cinnamon is great for an upset stomach.
  • Spinach - Spinach has twice as much iron as other green vegetables and has a rich source of antioxidants which is good news for your dog. It is also high in nutrients and is a fantastic source of fibre (which makes your dog "regular")
  • Carob - Carob is a safe chocolate alternative for dogs. Chocolate is toxic to dogs as it contains theobromine which can cause dogs to have seizures and even heart problems if consumed. Carob looks very similar to chocolate but has a much sweeter taste and it comes from a tropical pod.
  • Ginger - Ginger is wonderful for helping with certain doggie ailments. It has anti-nausea properties which decreases vomiting so if your dog has ann upset stomach or suffers from travel sickness ginger is great for calming the stomach. Ginger can also help with arthiritis in dogs and research shows it can slow the growth of cancer.
  • Banana - Banana's are another "superfood" filled with potassium which will benefit your dog's muscular system. They also add natural bacteria to your dog's bowel system which is always a bonus.
  • Carrot - Carrots are very good for gods because they are enriched with vitamins B,C,D,E and K. Carrots have also been proven to maintain your dog's eye sight.
  • Eggs - Eggs are an excellent source of protein and they also conatin the essential vitamins and minerals that your dog requires.
  • Honey - We use honey because it's a natural sweetner and the main vitamins found in honey are A1, B1, B6, B12, C, D, E
  • Cheese - Cheese is rich in vitamins A,B and D and also contains important minerals that will benefit your dogs muscle health.
  • Coconut - Coconuts are said to be superfoods that help aid digestion in dogs and contain antibacterial properties.

We always appreciate feedback of are products so why not send us an email and tell us your thoughts. If you also have a pet with special needs we can make bespoke dog treat solutions so no dog has to suffer when its treat time!
